rājan prakṛtim āpannaḥ kururājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | sahito bhrātṛbhiḥ sarvaḥ pārthivaiś cānuyāyibhiḥ ||
The verse highlights the ethical ideal of restored inner balance after turmoil: a righteous king should act from steadiness (prakṛti-stha), follow proper protocol, and seek orderly closure—requesting permission and proceeding without agitation or doubt.
Vaiśampāyana informs the addressed king that Yudhiṣṭhira has become calm and settled, is present with his brothers and accompanying kings in attendance, and is ready to be formally permitted to leave for Hastināpura.
