अथैनमन्रुवन्‌ देवा: शान्तक्रोधं जितेन्द्रियम्‌ । असुरैरिषुभिर्विद्धौ चन्द्रादित्याविमावुभौ

atha enam anruvan devāḥ śāntakrodhaṁ jitendriyam | asurair iṣubhir viddhau candrādityāv imāv ubhau ||

毗湿摩说:于是诸天对阿特里——息怒而制御诸根的圣仙——说道:“阿修罗以箭矢射伤了月与日。可怖的黑暗蔓延开来,我们也正被仇敌所杀,片刻不得安宁。主啊,愿你以慈悲护佑我们。”
