ममैषा सुप्रिया भार्या नैनामुत्स्रष्टमुत्सहे । “नारदजीके मुखसे उतथ्यकी यह बात सुनकर वरुणने उनसे कहा--“यह मेरी अत्यन्त प्यारी भार्या है। मैं इसे छोड़ नहीं सकता”
Transliteration
mama eṣā supriyā bhāryā nainām utsraṣṭum utsahe |
Translation
伐楼那听罢请求，答曰：“此乃我至爱之妻，我实不忍舍弃。”此言凸显了道义上的两难：一边是应允他人之求，一边是守护自身婚姻之约与责任。
