मुज्च भार्यामुतथ्यस्य कस्मात् त्वं हृतवानसि । “वरुण! तुम मेरे कहनेसे मेरी पत्नीको छोड़ दो। तुमने क्यों उसका अपहरण किया है? तुम लोगोंके लिये लोकपाल बनाये गये हो
muñca bhāryām utathyasya kasmāt tvaṁ hṛtavān asi
阿周那说道：“放还乌塔提耶（Utathya）之妻。你为何掳走她？你们被立为护世之神，非为败坏世间伦常之徒。苏摩（Soma）已将其女许配于我，她是我名正言顺的妻子；你今日又怎能将她劫夺而去？”依乌塔提耶之言，那罗陀（Nārada）将此要求转告水界之主伐楼那（Varuṇa），催其放人，并诘问此掳掠之举何以称义。
