येषां वृद्धश्न बालश्न सर्व: सम्मानमरहति । तपोविद्याविशेषात्तु मानयन्ति परस्परम्‌

Transliteration

yeṣāṁ vṛddhaśna bālaśna sarvaḥ sammānam arhati | tapovidyāviśeṣāt tu mānayanti parasparam ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：在婆罗门之中，无论年长或年幼，人人皆当受敬。然在其群体内部，他们尤以苦行与学识之卓越而相互尊崇——以灵修之纪律与知识为真正的高下尺度。
