देवानामपि ये देवा: कारणं कारणस्य च । प्रमाणस्य प्रमाणं च कस्तानभिभवेद्‌ बुध:

Transliteration

devānām api ye devāḥ kāraṇaṁ kāraṇasya ca | pramāṇasya pramāṇaṁ ca kas tān abhibhaved budhaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“婆罗门仿佛是诸神之上的‘神’，是因中之因，是准则之准则。既如此，哪一个智者还会想要压倒或羞辱他们呢？”
