एवं ते वर्तमानस्य सम्यग्दण्डधरस्य च | प्रजापालनदक्षस्य स्वर्गलोको भविष्यति

Transliteration

evaṁ te vartamānasya samyag daṇḍadharasya ca | prajā-pālana-dakṣasya svargaloko bhaviṣyati ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“若你如此行事——以真正的公正执持刑罚与政令，且善于护持、抚育臣民——则天界将为你所归。其义在于：君王之功德不在权势本身，而在自律、以公平之法施行惩治，并以才能安养百姓。”
