Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival
īśvara uvāca | pitāmahād api varaḥ śāśvataḥ puruṣo hariḥ | kṛṣṇo jāmbūnadābhāso vyaśre sūrya ivoditaḥ ||
The verse asserts the supreme status of Kṛṣṇa/Hari as the eternal Supreme Person, surpassing even Brahmā, and uses luminous imagery to inspire reverence and devotional recognition of divine greatness.
Īśvara speaks in praise, identifying Kṛṣṇa as transcendent and incomparable, describing his splendor through metaphors of refined gold and the cloudless rising sun.
