Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
(प्रमदोक्तं तु यत् किंचित् तत् स्त्रीषु बहु मन्यते । न तथा मन्यते स्त्रीषु पुरुषोक्तमनिन्दिते ।।
pramadoktaṁ tu yat kiñcit tat strīṣu bahu manyate | na tathā manyate strīṣu puruṣoktam anindite || anindite! tava sarvaḥ suviditaḥ strīdharmaḥ śāśvataḥ śubhe | tasmād aśeṣato brūhi svadharma vistareṇa me ||
摩醯首罗说道：“凡是女子以自己的声音所说之言——纵使出于一时疏忽——在女子之间往往被赋予极大的分量；而男子所说之言，在女子之间却不以同样方式受重视，汝无瑕者。吉祥的夫人啊，你已彻知女子那永恒而善益的法（dharma）。因此，请你毫无遗漏地告诉我——将你自身之法详尽陈述。”
