nārada uvāca | evam uktvā mahādevaḥ śrotukāmaḥ svayaṃ prabhuḥ | anukūlāṃ priyāṃ bhāryāṃ pārśvasthāṃ samabhāṣata ||
那罗陀说道：“如是言毕，摩诃提婆——虽为自在之主——亦生欲闻之心。于是他对近旁端坐的爱妻、温顺相应的帕尔瓦蒂开口，邀她发言。”
