कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity
न रज्ज्वा न च दण्डेन न लोष्टैर्नायुधेन च । उद्वेजयति भूतानि श्लक्षणकर्मा दयापर:
na rajjvā na ca daṇḍena na loṣṭair nāyudhena ca | udvejayati bhūtāni ślakṣaṇakarmā dayāparaḥ ||
他不以众生为惧——不以绳索，不以杖棒，不以土块石块，亦不以兵刃。其行柔和而无过，专志于慈悲。（在此教诲中，摩诃提婆赞叹不害之德：能制诸根，不令任何生命生怖畏、不受伤害，乃至于细微之处亦远离强迫与暴力者，被视为具足正法之人。）
