अतिथिदव्रतता धर्मों धर्मस्त्रेताग्निधारणम् | इष्टी क्ष पशुबन्धां श्व विधिपूर्व समाचरेत्
atithidavr̥tatā dharmo dharmas tretāgnidhāraṇam | iṣṭīś ca paśubandhāṁś ca vidhpūrvam samācaret ||
摩诃提婆说道：“对他而言，坚守待客之誓——迎接并敬奉来宾（atithi）——是法；守护家中三圣火亦是法。他还应依正当次第，如法举行种种祭仪（iṣṭi）以及所规定的牲祭之礼。”
