वचनीयस्य यो भुड्क्ते तमाहु: शोणितं हृदम्‌ । पिशुनं भोजन भुड्धक्ते ब्रह्म॒हत्यासमं विदु:

Transliteration

vacanīyasya yo bhuṅkte tam āhuḥ śoṇita-kuṇḍaṃ hṛdam | piśunaṃ bhojanaṃ bhuṅkte brahma-hatyā-samaṃ viduḥ |

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“凡食用品行可责之人的食物者，心中被称为‘血坑’。若食用出自搬弄是非、诽谤之人的食物，则此食行被视为等同于梵杀罪（brahma-hatyā，杀害婆罗门之罪）。因此，凡以轻慢、侮辱之态所施之食，切不可受。”
