Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
उत्पादितं वृषाड्केन दीप्तज्वलनसंनिभम् | दत्तं भगवता तुभ्य॑ दुर्धर्ष तेजसाद्भुतम्
utpāditaṃ vṛṣāṅkena dīptajvalanasaṃnibham | dattaṃ bhagavatā tubhya durdharṣaṃ tejasādbhutam ||
婆苏提婆说道：“此兵由具牛相之主（湿婆）化生而出，炽烈如燃火，并由圣主赐予于你。它具不可思议、不可抗拒的光威，实为不可征服——乃昔日商羯罗在诛灭那曾栖于水中、骄矜自负的魔族之后所赐之恩。”
