Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
पशुपतिवचनाद् भवामि सद्य: कृमिरथवा तरुरप्यनेकशाख: । अपशुपतिवरप्रसादजा मे त्रिभुवनराज्यविभूतिरप्यनिष्टा
paśupativacanād bhavāmi sadyaḥ kṛmir athavā tarur apy anekaśākhaḥ | apaśupativarprasādajā me tribhuvanarājyavibhūtir apy aniṣṭā ||
婆苏提婆说道：“唯凭主宰帕舒帕提的一言，我便能立刻、且欣然地化作一条虫——或化作枝柯繁多之树。然而，若三界王权的荣光是由帕舒帕提（湿婆）之外的任何人以赐福与恩宠而授予我，那么即便如此，我也不以为愿。”
