दानशील-समाचारः, सत्कारः, अहिंसा च
Umā–Maheśvara Saṃvāda
भोजनं च यथाशतत्या ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे । पशुबन्धशतस्येह फल प्राप्रोति पुष्कलम्
Dhaumya uvāca— bhojanaṁ ca yathāśaktyā brāhmaṇe vedapārage | paśubandhaśatasyeha phalaṁ prāpnoti puṣkalam ||
陀乌弥亚说道：若有人量力而行，供养一位通达诸吠陀的婆罗门以饮食，则于此世获得丰厚的报果——其圆满功德等同于一百次以牲畜为祭的牺牲。此偈强调：以真诚之信、随分随力款待学识圆满者，被尊为强有力的法行，足以成就传统上唯大祭仪方能获得的福德。
