उपवासविधि-प्रश्नः
Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
दशाचार्यानुपाध्याय उपाध्यायान् पिता दश
daśācāryān upādhyāyaḥ, upādhyāyān pitā daśa; gauraveṇa daśa pitṝn atikrāmati mātā; mātā hi svagauraveṇa pṛthivīm api tiraskaroti; tasmān mātṛsamo nānyo guruḥ.
毗湿摩说道：“一位训导之师胜过十位教师；父亲胜过十位训导之师；而母亲在尊严上又胜过十位父亲。凭其自身的伟大，母亲甚至能使整个大地都黯然失色。因此，世间无有可与母亲比肩的导师（guru）。”
