नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings

एवमस्त्विति संद्ृष्टा: प्रत्यूचुस्तं नराधिप । कुन्तीनंदन! नरेश्वर! पितामह ब्रह्माका यह कथन सुनकर सब देवता हर्षसे खिल उठे और बोले--'भगवन्‌! ऐसा ही हो”

evam astv iti saṃdṛṣṭāḥ pratyūcus taṃ narādhipa | kuntīnandana nareśvara | pitāmaha brahmā ca yaḥ kathanaṃ śrutvā sarve devā harṣeṇa khilībhūya ūcuḥ—“bhagavan, evaṃ eva bhavatu” ||

毗湿摩说道:“就如此吧。”他们以赞许的目光望着他而答道:大王啊——昆蒂之子啊,人中之主啊。听闻祖父(Pitamaha)与梵天(Brahmā)的这番言辞,诸天皆欢喜如花开,齐声宣告:“圣者啊,愿一切正如其言!”
