न च शक्तो5भविष्यद् वै पातने तस्य तेजसा । पृथ्वीनाथ! यदि नहुष भूगुको देख लेते तो उनके तेजसे प्रतिहत होकर वे उन्हें स्वर्गसे नीचे गिरानेमें समर्थ न होते
na ca śakto 'bhaviṣyad vai pātane tasya tejasā | pṛthvīnātha yadi nahuṣa bhṛguko naiva dadarśa ha ||
毗湿摩说道：“大地之主啊！若那胡沙不曾见到圣仙婆利古（Bhṛgu），他便不能——因婆利古的苦行神辉（tejas）遏止其作为——将其从天界打落。其旨在此：真正的苦行光辉（tejas）能抑制傲慢与非义之力，并以使不公之权势失效来护持达摩（dharma）。”
