प्रीता: प्रीणन्ति सततं मानिता मानयन्ति च । अवज्ञातावधूताश्न निर्दहन्त्यधमान्‌ नरान्‌

Transliteration

prītāḥ prīṇanti satataṃ mānitā mānayanti ca | avajñātā avadhūtāś ca nirdahanty adhamān narān ||

Translation

舒克罗说道：“诸神若得欢喜，便恒常赐人满足；诸神若受敬奉，亦回赐荣耀。然而若被轻慢、被蔑视，他们便以忿怒之火焚尽那些卑劣而无礼之人。”
