इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वमें छत्रदान और उपानहदानकी प्रशंसानामक छानबेवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi antargate dānadharmaparvaṇi chatradāna-upānahadāna-praśaṃsā-nāmakaḥ ṣaṇṇavati-tamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

至此，《圣摩诃婆罗多》之《教诫篇》（Anuśāsana Parva）中，隶属“布施之法”（Dāna-dharma）一段，题为《赞叹施伞与施履》的第九十六章圆满终了。于伦理之旨，此结尾题记昭示：纵是朴素而切用之施——能在日常中护佑、扶持他人的赠与——亦被奉为具大功德之正法行。
