कश्यप उवाच प्रजाहितार्थमारम्भो गरुडस्य तपोधना: । चिकीर्षति महत्कर्म तदनुज्ञातुमरहथ

Transliteration

Kaśyapa uvāca: prajāhitārtham ārambho Garuḍasya tapodhanāḥ | cikīrṣati mahat karma tad anu-jñātum arhatha ||

Translation

迦叶波说道：“诸位苦行功德深厚者，迦楼罗（Garuḍa）此举乃为众生之利而起。它欲成就一桩大业，故当允其所请，赐以许可。”
