तस्य पूर्व शिरो ग्रस्तं पुच्छमस्य निगीर्य च । निगीर्यमाणा साक्रामत् सुतं नागी मुमुक्षया
tasya pūrvaṃ śiro grastaṃ puccham asya nigīrya ca | nigīryamāṇā sākramat sutaṃ nāgī mumukṣayā ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：她先吞下他的头，又将他的尾也一并咽入。就在仍吞咽之际，蛇母为求脱身而挪移遁走——竭力欲腾空而去，只为救出其子。此景凸显母亲护子的凶烈本能，即便被逼至绝境，行事亦带着沉重的道德纠葛。
