मैत्रेयागमन चात्र राज्ञश्नैवानुशासनम् । शापोत्सर्गश्न तेनैव राज्ञो दुर्योधनस्य च,मैत्रेय ऋषिने आकर राजा धृतराष्ट्रको उपदेश किया और उन्होंने ही राजा दुर्योधनको शाप दे दिया
maitreya-āgamanaṁ cātra rājñaś caivānuśāsanam | śāpotsargaś ca tenaiva rājño duryodhanasya ca ||
此处亦叙述圣者弥勒耶（Maitreya）前来，劝诫国王持国（Dhṛtarāṣṭra）；并且还讲到，正是这位圣者对国王杜罗约陀那宣下诅咒。此段以道德警策为旨：权势若与傲慢相合，又拒听智者之言，必将招致不可避免的覆亡。
