एकलव्यस्तु तं दृष्टवा द्रोणमायान्तमन्तिकात् | अभिगम्योपसंगृहा जगाम शिरसा महीम्,इधर एकलव्यने आचार्य द्रोणको समीप आते देख आगे बढ़कर उनकी अगवानी की और उनके दोनों चरण पकड़कर पृथ्वीपर माथा टेक दिया
ekalavyas tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā droṇam āyāntam antikāt | abhigamyopasaṅgṛhya jagāma śirasā mahīm |
毗舍波耶那说：见德罗那走近，艾迦罗毗耶便上前迎接，恭敬地抱住师足，俯首叩地——此举显出弟子的谦卑，也显出师徒之缘的沉重；不久之后，这份羁绊将因义务与公正之问而受考验。
