वर्षमेकं न भुञ्जति कन्या वा विधवापि वा वर्षान्ते प्रतिमां कृत्वा पूर्वोक्तविधिना ततः

Transliteration

varṣamekaṃ na bhuñjati kanyā vā vidhavāpi vā varṣānte pratimāṃ kṛtvā pūrvoktavidhinā tataḥ

Translation

少女——乃至寡妇——当守持一整年节制饮食之誓；至年终，造作圣像，复依先前所授仪轨而行，以虔敬奉献于主宰（Pati）湿婆，使系缚个我之灵（paśu）的缚索（pāśa）得以松解。
