Suta Goswami
It frames the cosmos as regulated stations (including the Sun and its months), supporting Linga-worship as adoration of Shiva’s all-governing axis (Pati) behind time, movement, and cosmic placement.
Though Shiva is not named, the verse implies a governed universe where even fierce beings have assigned abodes; Shaiva Siddhanta reads this as the mark of Pati—supreme lordship ordering all tattvas and beings under His śakti.
A calendrical awareness for vrata/puja timing is implied: aligning Shiva-puja and observances with solar months, while yogically cultivating the Pashupata insight that all forces (even tamasic ones) operate within divine governance.
