गिरयो हि निगीर्णत्वादयनात्तु शिलोच्चयाः / तत स्तावासमुद्धृत्य क्षितिमंतर्जलात्प्रभुः

Transliteration

girayo hi nigīrṇatvādayanāttu śiloccayāḥ / tata stāvāsamuddhṛtya kṣitimaṃtarjalātprabhuḥ

Translation

因曾被吞没，故称“吉里”(giri)；又因是高耸的石聚，故名“石丘”(śiloccaya)。随后主宰将其举起，从内海之水中拯出大地。
