बृहद्रथात् कुशाग्रोऽभूदृषभस्तस्य तत्सुत: । जज्ञे सत्यहितोऽपत्यं पुष्पवांस्तत्सुतो जहु: ॥ ७ ॥
bṛhadrathāt kuśāgro ’bhūd ṛṣabhas tasya tat-sutaḥ jajñe satyahito ’patyaṁ puṣpavāṁs tat-suto jahuḥ
从布里哈德拉塔生出库沙阿格罗;由库沙阿格罗生出利沙婆;由利沙婆生出萨提亚希塔。萨提亚希塔之子为普什帕梵,普什帕梵之子为贾胡。
It lists a sequence of descendants—Bṛhadratha, Kuśāgra, Ṛṣabha, Satyahita, Puṣpavān, and Jahu—continuing the royal genealogy described by Śukadeva.
To preserve the historical flow of dynasties through which dharma was maintained and through which key devotees and events later appear in the Purāṇic narrative.
It highlights continuity and responsibility across generations—encouraging one to live dharmically and pass on spiritual values, not merely possessions or status.
