श्रीशुक उवाच एकदा तु सभामध्य आस्थितो मुनिभिर्वृत: । ब्राह्मणै: क्षत्रियैर्वैश्यैर्भ्रातृभिश्च युधिष्ठिर: ॥ १ ॥ आचार्यै: कुलवृद्धैश्च ज्ञातिसम्बन्धिबान्धवै: । शृण्वतामेव चैतेषामाभाष्येदमुवाच ह ॥ २ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca ekadā tu sabhā-madhya āsthito munibhir vṛtaḥ brāhmaṇaiḥ kṣatriyair vaiśyair bhrātṛbhiś ca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
舒迦提婆·高斯瓦弥说：有一天，达摩王由提希提罗端坐王廷议会之中，周围环绕着卓越的圣贤、婆罗门、刹帝利与吠舍，以及他的兄弟、师长、族中长老、血亲、姻亲与友人。众人静听之时，他向主奎师那致意并说道如下。
