The Syamantaka Jewel: Accusation, Recovery, and Kṛṣṇa’s Marriage to Satyabhāmā
निशम्य देवकी देवी रक्मिण्यानकदुन्दुभि: । सुहृदो ज्ञातयोऽशोचन् बिलात् कृष्णमनिर्गतम् ॥ ३४ ॥
niśamya devakī devī rakmiṇy ānakadundubhiḥ suhṛdo jñātayo ’śocan bilāt kṛṣṇam anirgatam
天后提婆姬、鲁克米妮、阿那迦敦都毗·婆苏提婆及主的亲友听闻奎师那未出洞窟,皆哀恸悲泣。
They heard the situation and grieved because Kṛṣṇa had not emerged from the cave, creating fear that harm might have come to Him.
It shows that even Kṛṣṇa’s closest family and devotees experience intense anxiety in separation, revealing the depth of their affectionate devotion.
By recognizing that longing and concern for the Lord can deepen sincerity—one can respond by increasing remembrance, prayer, and steady bhakti practices rather than becoming indifferent.
