Mucukunda’s Departure; Jarāsandha’s Pursuit; Prelude to Rukmiṇī’s Abduction
Rukmiṇī’s Message Begins
pradrutya dūraṁ saṁśrāntau tuṅgam āruhatāṁ girim pravarṣaṇākhyaṁ bhagavān nityadā yatra varṣati
In this verse, Pravarṣaṇa is described as a lofty mountain where Bhagavān constantly causes rainfall, marking it as a distinctive place in the narrative setting.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates this verse while describing events in Canto 10, Chapter 52, as the story moves through a tense journey in the Rukmiṇī–Kṛṣṇa episode.
It highlights that exhaustion and struggle are part of life’s journey, and remembrance of Bhagavān as the ultimate controller and protector gives steadiness while passing through difficult circumstances.
