This verse teaches that even momentary remembrance of the Lord at death can destroy the stored karmic impressions and grant the supreme destination.
The verse describes the Supreme Lord (Nārāyaṇa/Kṛṣṇa) as identical with Brahman in essence and shining with sunlike radiance.
Cultivate daily nāma-japa, hearing (śravaṇa), and remembrance (smaraṇa) so that the mind naturally turns to the Lord even in crisis.
