Kṛṣṇa Comforts His Parents, Restores Ugrasena, Studies with Sāndīpani, and Returns the Guru’s Son
तत्र प्रवयसोऽप्यासन् युवानोऽतिबलौजस: । पिबन्तोऽक्षैर्मुकुन्दस्य मुखाम्बुजसुधां मुहु: ॥ १९ ॥
tatra pravayaso ’py āsan yuvāno ’ti-balaujasaḥ pibanto ’kṣair mukundasya mukhāmbuja-sudhāṁ muhuḥ
在那里,即使最年长的居民也显得如同青年,充满力量与生机,因为他们以双眼不断啜饮穆昆达莲华圣颜的甘露。
This verse says that simply beholding Mukunda’s lotus face is like drinking nectar with the eyes, so uplifting that even the elderly feel renewed with youthful strength and vitality.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī speaks this verse while narrating Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes and the transformative effect of seeing Him.
Regular, attentive darśana—through sincere prayer, deity worship, and mindful contemplation of Kṛṣṇa’s form—can restore inner energy, hope, and clarity by re-centering the mind on the divine.
