Rāsa-līlā Dialogue

kācit karāmbujaṁ śaurer jagṛhe ’ñjalinā mudā kācid dadhāra tad-bāhum aṁse candana-bhūṣitam
一位牧女欢喜地以合掌捧住绍利的莲花之手;另一位把他涂着檀香的臂膀安放在自己的肩上。
This verse depicts the gopīs’ spontaneous, intimate service—holding Krishna’s lotus hand with reverence and placing His sandalwood-scented arm on their shoulders—showing love expressed through personal attendance to the Lord.
In the flow of the Rāsa-līlā, their love naturally seeks closeness and service; these gestures show affectionate devotion and Krishna’s reciprocal acceptance of their prema.
It teaches bhakti as joyful, personal service—offering oneself with reverence (like joined palms) and affectionate dedication—bringing devotion from mere ritual into heartfelt relationship with Krishna.
