Sukta 2
यावतीः कृत्या उपवासने यावन्तो राज्ञो वरुणस्य पाशाः । व्यृद्धयो या असमृद्धयो या अस्मिन् ता स्थाणावधि सादयामि
yā́vatīḥ kṛtyā́ upavā́sane yā́vanto rā́jño váruṇasya pā́śāḥ | vyṛ́ddhayo yā́ asamṛ́ddhayo yā́ asmín tā́ sthāṇā́v ádhi sādayāmi
What sorceries soever are within the dwelling, what nooses of king Varuṇa there be—what failures, what prosperless states are herein, those do I cause to settle down upon the stump.
凡居处之中所有的咒术,凡伐楼那王(Varuṇa)的一切绳索;此中所有的衰败,所有的不兴盛——我都令它们沉伏,落定在树桩之上。
