yámabadhnā́d bृहáspátir vā́tāya maṇím āśáve | tám ā́paḥ bíbhratīr maṇíṃ sadā́ dhā́vanti ákṣitāḥ | sá ā́bhyo ’mṛ́tam íd duhḗ bhū́yo-bhūyaḥ śváḥ-śvaḥ téna tváṃ dviṣatáḥ jahí
The amulet which Bṛhaspati bound on for Vāta, the swift—bearing that amulet, the Waters, unexhausted, run ever on. From them it milks out immortality indeed, again and yet again, day after day: with that do thou smite the haters.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (mani hymn complex).
Devata: Āpaḥ (Waters) and Maṇi; with Bṛhaspati/Vāta as enabling agents.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh
