Sukta 5
पितॄणां भाग स्थ। अपां शुक्रमापो देवीर्वर्चो अस्मासु धत्त । प्रजापतेर्वो धाम्नास्मै लोकाय सादये
pitṝṇā́ṃ bhāgá sthá | apā́ṃ śukrám ā́po devī́r várcó asmā́su dhatta | prajā́pater vo dhā́mnā́smái lokā́ya sādaye
Ye are the Fathers’ portion. O Waters, bright of essence, goddesses, set splendour within us. By Prajāpati’s ordinance—by your established might—I seat him firmly in this world.
你们是祖灵（Pitṛ）的份额。噢，诸水（Āpas），精华明净的女神们，请把光辉（varcas）安置在我们之中。凭借你们依普罗阇波提（Prajāpati）之法度而立的威力，我使他在此世间安坐、牢固建立。
