FAQs

It teaches a Vāstu-śānti procedure: specific mantras are used with ghee oblations (homa), including offerings to Vāstoṣpati and attendant gaṇas, to neutralize vāstu-doṣas and counter inauspicious dream-signs.

It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s practical handbook style by combining mantra-vidhi, fire-ritual technique, omen management (bad dreams), and Vāstu doctrine—bridging ritual science with applied domestic/architectural well-being.

Performing the prescribed homa is presented as producing śreyas (auspicious welfare) and purification, removing subtle and material impediments attributed to vāstu-doṣa and inauspicious dream influences.
