FAQs

It specifies the substances used for a bali (sesame, meat, and liquor) and notes that the preparatory rites (bath, etc.) follow earlier instructions, while also listing particular post-ritual omens observed in a “third” scenario.

Alongside prescribing offerings and procedural details, it catalogs observable signs (crying, trembling, bloody urination) as diagnostic/omen-like indicators—showing the text’s blend of ritual manual, practical observation, and applied religious knowledge.

By linking specific ritual acts with subsequent auspicious or inauspicious signs, the verse frames ritual performance as morally and spiritually consequential, where improper conditions or adverse influences may manifest through disturbing omens.
