It conveys nāma-stuti as a practical devotional method: contemplating and reciting divine epithets centered on dharma and Śrī to cultivate purity (nirmalatā) and auspiciousness.
Alongside governance, rituals, and sciences, the Agni Purāṇa also preserves concise theological and ethical doctrine through name-lists: it encodes dharma-theory and prosperity theology (Śrī/Lakṣmī) in a memorisable liturgical format.
Meditating on the Lord as the source and sustainer of dharma is presented as a purifier of conduct and intention, aligning one’s karma with righteousness and attracting auspiciousness symbolised by Śrī.
