Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Krīm-bīja with Śabda-deha (Veda-traya-rūpa) Maṇḍala-lekhana and Sāyaṃ-yāga-sāmagrī-saṃbhāra","lookup_keywords":["krīm bīja","śabda-deha devatā","ṛg-yajus-sāma rūpa","maṇḍala lekhana","sāyaṃ yāga dravya"],"quick_summary":"Use “oṃ krīm” as the initiating bīja, inscribe the maṇḍala for the deity identified with Vedic sound (ṛk–yajus–sāman), and prepare the evening rite by collecting the required offerings and implements."}

Concept: Śabda as deity-body: Veda as living form (śabda-deha) approached through bīja and maṇḍala.

Application: Treat recitation, correct textual tradition, and diagrammatic inscription as a unified sādhana leading to ritual efficacy (kriyā-siddhi).

Khanda Section: Puja-vidhi / Mantra-yantra-kalpa (Agneya-vidya)

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: śānta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A ritualist inscribes a sacred maṇḍala on a clean surface while reciting “oṃ krīm”, with Vedic symbols (ṛk, yajus, sāman) suggested as three streams of sound; nearby are arranged evening yajña materials—flowers, lamps, vessels, grains, ghee.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala temple mural style: priest in white dhoti drawing a geometric maṇḍala with red/ochre lines, stylized Vedic palm-leaf manuscript with marked passages, subtle aura of sound-waves labeled ṛk-yajus-sāman, oil lamp glow, flat iconic composition.","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting: central maṇḍala with embossed gold highlights, ‘oṃ krīm’ in ornate script, ritual tray with ghee lamp and flowers, rich jewel tones, temple interior framing, gold foil detailing around the diagram.","mysore_prompt":"Mysore painting: instructional clarity—stepwise depiction of maṇḍala drawing tools, manuscript with marginal marks, labeled yajña items, soft shading, delicate linework, calm evening ambience.","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature: detailed atelier-like scene of a sādhaka drawing a maṇḍala on a low platform, attendants bringing ritual materials, fine calligraphy of ‘oṃ krīm’, intricate textiles, architectural niche background."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"contemplative","suggested_raga":"Bhairav","pace":"slow","voice_tone":"instructional"}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: ऋग्यजुःसामरूपाय = ऋक् + यजुः + साम + रूपाय; शब्ददेहाय = शब्द + देहाय; यागद्रव्यादि = याग + द्रव्य + आदि; चाहरेत् = च + आहरेत्.

FAQs

It instructs mantra-based worship: using the bīja ‘krīm’ with Oṃ, drawing (inscribing) a maṇḍala dedicated to a deity conceived as the embodied form of the three Vedas, and preparing the yāga (rite) by procuring ritual materials in the evening.

It exemplifies the Agni Purāṇa’s practical ritual manual character—linking Vedic identity (Ṛg–Yajus–Sāman), tantric-style bīja usage (krīm), and concrete liturgical logistics (maṇḍala-drawing and yāga materials) within a single procedural instruction.

By treating sound (śabda) as the deity’s body and performing maṇḍala-based worship with proper preparation, the practitioner aligns speech, intention, and action—supporting purification, ritual efficacy (siddhi), and merit (puṇya) through disciplined observance.
