FAQs

It encodes yajña-vidyā symbolism: Varāha is identified with “mahā-yajña,” presenting cosmic restoration (earth-rescue) as the archetype of sacrifice and sacred order upheld by Vedic revelation (trayī).

It compresses multiple domains—avatāra theology (Varāha), Vedic hermeneutics (trayī as embodied scripture), and cosmography (Śeṣa as cosmic support)—showing how the Agni Purāṇa interlinks devotion, ritual theory, and universe-models in a single śloka.

Reciting such salutations cultivates bhakti and smṛti (remembrance) of Viṣṇu as protector of dharma; the devotee aligns with the sustaining power of yajña and gains purification through reverent praise.
