श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ शत्रुघ्नेन पुरा घोरो लवणः सूदितो यथा ॥ द्विजानुग्रहकामार्थमन्नमुग्रस्वरूपिणम् ॥

śrīvarāha uvāca || śatrughnena purā ghoro lavaṇaḥ sūdite yathā || dvijānugrahakāmārtham annam ugrasvarūpiṇam ||

Śrī Varāha phán: “Xưa kia, Śatrughna đã giết Lavaṇa hung bạo như thế nào, và vì muốn ban ân cho các dvija (những người hai lần sinh), lương thực đã hiện ra trong hình tướng đáng sợ ra sao—ta sẽ thuật lại.”
