शृण्वन्तु मुनयः सर्वे सावधानाः सशिष्यकाः । माहात्म्यं कथयिष्यामि अयोध्याया महोदयम्

śṛṇvantu munayaḥ sarve sāvadhānāḥ saśiṣyakāḥ | māhātmyaṃ kathayiṣyāmi ayodhyāyā mahodayam

Xin chư hiền thánh ẩn sĩ, cùng các đệ tử, hãy lắng nghe chăm chú. Nay ta sẽ thuật lại Mahātmya—vinh quang cát tường, nâng cao tâm linh—của Ayodhyā.
