व्यासशिष्यः पुराणज्ञो समः हर्षणसंज्ञकः । तान्प्रणम्य यथान्यायं मुनीनुपविवेश सः । उपविष्टो यथान्यायं मुनीनां वचनेन सः

Transliteration

vyāsaśiṣyaḥ purāṇajño samaḥ harṣaṇasaṃjñakaḥ | tānpraṇamya yathānyāyaṃ munīnupaviveśa saḥ | upaviṣṭo yathānyāyaṃ munīnāṃ vacanena saḥ

Translation

Ngài là đệ tử của Vyāsa, am tường các Purāṇa, tính tình điềm đạm, mang danh Harṣaṇa. Đảnh lễ các bậc hiền triết đúng phép, ngài ngồi gần họ; và khi đã an tọa theo lễ nghi, ấy là theo lời thỉnh của chư muni.
