तत्र स्नात्वा महादेवि यज्ञकोटिफलं लभेत् । तस्यैव कल्पनामानि शृणु ते कथयाम्यहम्
tatra snātvā mahādevi yajñakoṭiphalaṃ labhet | tasyaiva kalpanāmāni śṛṇu te kathayāmyaham
Hỡi Mahādevī, tắm gội tại đó sẽ đạt quả báo như một koṭi (mười triệu) lễ tế (yajña). Nay xin lắng nghe, ta sẽ nói cho nàng những danh xưng mà chính tīrtha ấy được gọi trong các thời đại (kalpa).
