चंद्र उवाच । यदि प्रसन्नो देवेश वरार्हो यदि वाऽप्यहम् । सोमनाथेति तं नाम भूयाद्ब्रह्मावधि प्रभो
caṃdra uvāca | yadi prasanno deveśa varārho yadi vā'pyaham | somanātheti taṃ nāma bhūyādbrahmāvadhi prabho
Candra thưa: “Ô Đấng Chúa tể chư thiên—nếu Ngài hoan hỷ, và nếu con cũng xứng đáng nhận ân phúc—thì, bạch Đấng Tối Thượng, xin cho Danh ấy là ‘Somnātha’, trường tồn cho đến tận giới hạn của kiếp Brahmā.”
