Īśvara (Śiva) (deduced from immediate narrative continuity into 339 where Īśvara speaks)
Tirtha: Jālakeśvara (within Prabhāsa-kṣetra) and Devikā-tīrtha environs
Type: ghat
Scene: A pilgrim couple at a riverbank altar offering piṇḍas (rice-balls) with kuśa grass; nearby a decorated cow is gifted to a serene Veda-knowing brāhmaṇa; in the background stands the Jālakeśvara liṅga shrine with water motifs; a reciter reads the māhātmya to gathered listeners.
At Prabhāsa, ancestral rites, charity, and Śiva-darśana together yield inexhaustible merit and spiritual uplift.
Prabhāsakṣetra, specifically emphasizing darśana of Jālakeśvara.
Offering piṇḍa to the Pitṛs, performing go-dāna to a Veda-proficient brāhmaṇa, listening to the māhātmya, and taking darśana of Jālakeśvara.
