कृच्छ्रेणैव तदा तासामित्येवमनुशुश्रुम । वैन्यात्प्रभृतिलोकेऽस्मिन्सर्वस्यैतस्य संभवः
kṛcchreṇaiva tadā tāsāmityevamanuśuśruma | vainyātprabhṛtiloke'sminsarvasyaitasya saṃbhavaḥ
Như vậy, chúng ta đã được nghe rằng ngay khi ấy, kế sinh nhai của họ cũng đầy gian khó. Từ Vainya (vua Pṛthu) trở đi, trong cõi đời này mới phát sinh nguồn gốc của tất cả những phương cách mưu sinh có trật tự ấy.
